And regardless of how I felt about that chapter, I still really liked the series. And the fact that I knew where she was about half the time was really cool to me. It moves between steady to fast paced, its character driven but enough attention is given to the background details that you feel like you’re there.

Nick still fancies himself in love with Jules, and poor Jules endures more in those few weeks than any person should in 5 lifetimes. I will say that you find out more about Travis and I was right, there was something up with him. Since the epilogue is written over 5 years in the future, if she had put all that business in there about all the work it took her to get to the point where she was, it would have made for a much stronger book and finish to an otherwise amazing story.Īgain, other than the “what the crap is she talking about” bit in the paragraph above, I won’t divulge anything else from the story. I also felt that it didn’t really jive with the epilogue. So much more to get to the point that she got to. I believe that it would take more in order for things to turn out ok. The only problem I had was the last numbered chapter. It was a REALLY fast paced and exciting book. Bullets whizzing everywhere, people hiding in plain sight. And it really didn’t disappoint in the action department. I really didn’t know what to expect out of this last book. And we left off in Blyssful Lies with a major nail biter. We’re back with Nick, Travis, and Julianna. Both men love her, and both men want to claim her, keeping her for themselves. Nick thinks he’s the night in shining armor while Travis believes he will be enough to save her from herself, but does she even want to be saved?īoth men want her. As the matrix of her concealed past unfolds to deliver the final blow, rationality and sanity begin to take on a definition and meaning of its own.

Her chosen fate is one of stellar proportions, and she struggles to keep sane, trying to hold it together every step of the way. The whirlwind of chaos and heartbreak will forever change the game. Years of diabolical scheming unraveling at the seams, unleashing torrents of lies and deceit. She lived a normal life until she was about to turn twenty-one, and then all hell broke loose. Sexual tension, danger and intrigue will keep you on your toes! Two sexy, ruthless men…one innocent female caught in the middle. You can read my review of Blyss (Book 1) here and my review of Blyssful Lies (Book 2) here.īlyss is part of a carefully orchestrated, organized game, and is driven by much bigger and darker forces. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
